Welcome back to, What I am reading? I’ve decided to keep this as a theme for my first post of each month. The book reviews I post are usually done by request from either an author or as a courtesy to the publisher for a complimentary or advance copy that I’ve received, however I read more than what those entail and I’m going to try to gear this post to some of those lesser known titles or authors that I read. Please note that whether I’m provided a copy or not, my reviews and/ or opinions are my own and will be honest. However I do not believe in bashing an author or their work because I am well aware of the time, soul searching, and hard work that goes into writing and I honestly believe that if you are reading purely for enjoyment, you can usually find something good in almost everything written.
WHICH NOVEL ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING & WHO IS THE AUTHOR?
Moving On by Trisha Grace
Okay, I actually just finished this book, but since I have yet to start a new one and because I have a full weekend ahead, I’m writing this on Friday evening instead of Saturday like I usually do. So it’s what we’re going with.
WHAT IS THE OPENING LINE OF THE BOOK?
“After what you’ve been through with your parents and grandmother, you shouldn’t have to be here,” William Hayes said through his oxygen mask.
WHAT ARE THE HERO & HEROINES NAMES OR MAIN CHARACTERS NAMES?
Kate & Tyler
WHAT IS THE 1ST SENTENCE OF THE SECOND PARAGRAPH OF CHAPTER 9?
He looked over at Kate.
WHAT’S NEXT ON YOUR TBR PILE?
Looking back on my list from last month, I haven’t made a very big dent in my TBR list. If anything, I took on a few more reviews and then have books by friends that were recently published that I have added as well. The good thing about this, is that I’ve been writing more and when I’m writing, I don’t read as much. Good for me, not so good for those I’ve promised reviews to.
The Ravishing of Beauty by Jessica Satin
The News Sorority by Sheila Weller
The Unexpected Honeymoon by Barbara Wallace
Exposed Secrets by April Nichols Baker
Christmas With A SEAL by Tawney Webber

Great post, it’s nice to look at what others are reading. I just finished Stepbrother Dearest by Penelope Ward – OMG, it was sooo good!

I just looked at the cover and oh holy heaven 🙂 Sounds good. May have to add it to that ever growing pile. I like knowing what others are reading, because sometimes you come across a little gem that you never would have known about otherwise.

This is a good idea for your first post of the month Dena. I’m reading Forty & Out by C.L. Pauwels, her debut book (seem to be reading more of those lately).

Seems like I’ve come across that book somewhere, the blurb sounds familiar. You’ll have to let me know how it is. I’ve been wanting something different lately. Just a little break from romance. I have some fiction reviews ahead, but I’m really in the mood for something that goes against my norm.
